2000 F POWER WIRE FOR AEROSPACE ENVIRONMENT.

Abstract

One of the 22-gauge power-wire systems passed the 1200-volt breakdown test at 2000 F. Quantity production of systems to meet this specification, however, has been difficult, apparently because the end seals are slightly undersized. Therefore, larger-diameter end seals will be inserted into future systems. The replacement of copper with rhodium plating on the metallizing has greatly enhanced the appearance of the braze joints.
