AUGER EFFECTS INVOLVING RECOMBINATION CENTRES

Abstract

The concentration dependence of the lifetime of minority carriers in copper-diffused germanium is explained quantitatively. The fit yields an Auger effect mass-action constant which is shown to be in order-of-magnitude agreement with theory.
