VIDEO DETECTOR DIODES FOR COUNTERMEASURES EQUIPMENT.

Abstract

A description is given of the solid state design and development of high power video detector diodes. The relationships between the diode equivalent circuit parameters and the fabrication processes are discussed. Detailed information is given concerning the material preparation, the junction formation, the diffusion process, the application of ohmic contacts, the geometrical shaping with respect to the solid state process, and the packaging of the units. The improvements in sensitivity obtained are presented. (Author)
