PROJECT SHOAL VOLUNTEER TEAM PROGRAM,

Abstract

This report describes the objectives of the VELA Program and the portion of it named VELA-UNIFORM under which seismic energy from underground nuclear explosions is studied. It also describes preparations made to facilitate monitoring SHOAL and summarizes the results obtained by the Volunteer Teams monitoring this test shot. (Author)
