COMPLEMENTARY INEQUALITIES III: INEQUALITIES COMPLEMENTARY TO SCHWARZ'S INEQUALITY IN HILBERT SPACE,

Abstract

The Schwarz inequality in a Hilbert space may be regarded as giving an upper bound for the number in terms of the two squares of the norms. Under certain circumstances there exist complementary inequalities to the Schwarz inequality. Operator inequalities of this general complementary nature are proven. (Author)
