CAMERA TUBE WITH INTERNAL IMAGE-MOTION COMPENSATION.

Abstract

Image Sections for Image Motion Compensation (IMC) were built and judged by visual inspection. An image projected within a circle of about 1.5 inch, or 75% of cathode diameter, can be kept immobilized at center of target by electrostatic (e.s.) deflection factor is 550 volts/inch KV. Details about the tube and focus field are given, including means to blank the image by a shutter mesh. (Author)
