Abstract
This version of the User's Guided supersedes a preliminary version which was issued in August of 1962. The user of the preliminary version should note changes in the control statements CYCLE, OPTION, KEEP, INSERT, END, MERGE, NORM, SARIT, and CROSC. Of these, only those to CYCLE, OPTION and MERGE will prevent a previously satisfactory control list from running. The functions indicated by numbers in the second item of the SARIT control statement have been changed and control statements READF, READF2, ENDFIL, TRUNC2, FOURTR and HARM added. In the CYCLE and OPTION control statements, the word CHK has been substituted for IND. The guide has been extensively rewritten to improve its intelligibility. (Author)
