A MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY OF RAT TESTICULAR TISSUE EXPOSED TO RF ENERGY,

Abstract

Rat testes in vivo were exposed to RF energy for 10 minute periods. Exposures were made every 0.05 megacycles between 12.5 and 14.5 megacycles. A single testis was exposed while the other served as a control. All tissues were examined by routine histological techniques with selected cases being examined by electron microscopy. Examinations were 24 and 72 hours after exposure. No morphological changes were detected under these methods of exposure and observation. (Author)
