OZONESONDE OBSERVATIONS OVER NORTH AMERICA. VOLUME I.

Abstract

A network of 11 ozonesonde stations was established in North America to provide high resolution observations of the vertical ozone distribution for a variety of research purposes. The resultant data will be published in a series of volumes consisting of both graphical presentation of the ozone profiles and associated temperature and dew point profiles and a detailed tabulation of the ozone and radiosonde data. This first volume contains observations for the period January through March 1963 plus the results from a series of test flights conducted just prior to the start of the program. (Author)
