AXONE REFLEXES AND INNERVATION OF CUTANEOUS EFFECTORS.

Abstract

Objectives of the work are: (1) further testing of the hypothesis of axone reflex mechanisms, (2) elucidation of the mechanisms of initiation of cutaneous axone reflexes, (3) investigation of relationships between the peripheral phenomena and the central nervous system, (4) determination of the physiological significance of cutaneous axone reflexes, and (5) investigation of direct neuroeffector mechanisms involved in activation of cutaneous organs.
