REDUCTION OF FERMION OPERATORS BY LITTLE GROUP TECHNIQUE,

Abstract

It is shown that the different representations of The Dirac operators which are used in physical applications could be obtained as representations of a group, called Dirac group, by the little group technique. Further, this approach to these operators reduces the important theorems on their matrix representations to the well known theorems on their matrix representations to the well known theorems on the representations of the groups. This analysis is further extended to the fermion annihilation and creation operators through an extended Dirac group to obtain their well known matrix representations. (Author)
