THE EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF THE SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM IN INVARIANT IMBEDDING,

Abstract

Invariance principles are one of the most powerful tools in the study of radiative transport and other transport processes. The question of whether the invariance principle gives rise to unique solutions in a given physical situation, however, is often hard to answer. The present Memorandum shows that the solution is in fact unique for a certain class of nonlinear problems involving particle interactions. (Author)
