THERMAL RELEASING CONNECTORS.

Abstract

The statistical and numerical analysis of the thermal releasing characteristics of the connector has proven the design capable of maintaining a 20 F range of releasing temperatures. Evaluation of the results of the environmental tests has shown an insignificant effect on the thermal releasing characteristics of the connector. Investigation has shown that the basic Pygmy design tolerances and materials are capable of adaptation to a highly reliable connector device. A material investigation has shown that the function of the releasing ring material is dependent on processes peculiar to a given source. (Author)
