STUDY AND INVESTIGATION OF A UHF-VHF ANTENNA.
Abstract
A comparison of theoretical and experimental beam patterns for the equiangular spiral will be available shortly. Preliminary tests of magnetic bias on the ferrite-filled rectangular slot indicate that the resonant frequency of the slot increases with increasing magnetic fields. Further tests of the effects of ferrite loading on VSWR and beam pattern for the log conical and log zig-zag antennas are being conducted. An extension of the frequency range of the antennas is indicated. (Author)
