THERMOELECTRIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL IN AN/URQ-9 FREQUENCY STANDARD.
Abstract
Frequency measurements made on five low temperature 5 mc crystals are plotted to show their frequency stabilization period and long term aging characteristics. Long term drift rates of precision oscillators coupled to the low temperature crystals were found to be within several parts in 10 to the minus 11 power per day. Performance of the five oscillators after periods of shutdown are reported. (Author)
