INVESTIGATIONS ON NOBLE GAS FILLED THERMIONIC ENERGY CONVERTERS,

Abstract

Space charge compensation and the performance of a special noble gas filled thermionic converter are reported. Rf oscillations were investigated. Work function and emitter resistance were measured. Experimental investigations on the arc mode are summarized. (Author)
