ADVANCED RECORDING SUBSYSTEM.

Abstract

This report describes the objectives and accomplishments, during July, August and September 1960, and the future plans of the Missile and Space Vehicle Department, General Electric Company, in a program to develop and demonstrate under United States Air Force sponsorship, a thermoplastic film recorder of a type suitable for high-density storage of data in satellites and advanced re-entry vehicles.
