SHIPBOARD MEASUREMENT OF SYNCHRO AND OTHER FIRE-CONTROL SIGNALS ON DDG AND DLG TYPE SHIPS,

Abstract

Measurements were made on the Mk 74 and Mk 76 fire-control systems and the Mk 68 Mod 4 gun fire-control system to determine the frequency and noise distortion of the input signals to the fire-control computer. This report describes the test methods used and the results obtained aboard the USS Lynde McCormick, DDG-8, and the USS Mahan, DLG-11. (Author)
