REFERENCE MANUAL ON TENTAGE.
Abstract
This manual updates the information contained in the report entitled, A Survey of Tentage Commonly Used in the United States Army, printed in June 1962. The purpose of this manual is to fimiliarize the various Army elements with the nomenclature, design, purpose, etc., of present standard tentage. Included also are some of the experimental tents currently in the user test phase of development which show promise of early adoption as standard items. It is thought that the basic technical data provided for each tent will be not only useful reference material, but will also be of assistance in determining and selecting the tent required from those available in the supply system.
