HIGH POWER MERCURY SWITCH.

Abstract

This report describes the engineering investigation leading to the determination of the most feasible methods of utilizing the mercury pool cathode as an electron source for super high power switching device for line type modulators. A general discussion of the theoretical approach to the problem is given as well as results of experimental work. The conclusions summarize all theoretical and experimental work and make recommendations for any future work in this area. (Author)
