ON THE PROBABILISTIC NETWORKS,

Abstract

A Probabilistic network is defined as a linear graph with its branch weights being statistically independent discrete random variables. A general probabilistic network function is formulated in terms of the reliabilities of individual branches. Some relationship between them is also discussed. Application to probabilistic switching network is also considered. (Author)
