Abstract

This is the forty-fourth in a series of monthly reports reviewing Soviet developments in selected problems in astrophysics and geophysics. It is based on materials received at the Aerospace Information Division in January 1964. Materials in this report deal with: (1) Ionospheric Electron Concentration; (2) Solar Radiation and the Ionosphere; (3) Van Allen Belts and Cosmic Rays; (4) Telluric Currents; (5) Meteorology of the Upper Atmosphere.
