TEST PROCEDURES FOR PROTECTIVE SHELTERS

Abstract

Protective shelters must be maintained in good condition to function properly when required. This report lists equipment that should be checked annually or more often to ensure that shelters can operate as designed. Procedures for testing some special items of shelter equipment are also given. Development of additional methods for test inspections are recommended for establishment of an improved standard operational readiness inspection.
