PROCEEDINGS OF THE VESIAC CONFERENCE ON VARIATIONS OF THE EARTH'S CRUST AND UPPER MANTLE.

Abstract

This report is a collection of papers presented at a VESIAC Special Study Conference held at Escanaba, Michigan, September 16-18, 1963. The conference was called to review current thought on problems in measuring parameters of the earth's crust and upper mantle. Thickness measurements in specific areas, the correlation between the earth's gravity and velocity distribution, and surface-wave propagation are discussed. (Author)
