GLASS MICRODOSIMETRY SYSTEM USED AT THE U. S. ARMY NUCLEAR DEFENSE LABORATORY,
Abstract
The silver-activated phosphate-glass microdosimeter system employed at the U.S. Army Nuclear Defense Laboratory is explained. The advantages and disadvantages of the system, as well as the iodiosyncracies of the microdosimeters themselves, are reported.
