AROMATIC ORGANIC LASER DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The purpose of this program was to produce coherent stimulated emission in the blue-green region in a purely organic dopant-host system. The experimental program of the last six months was concerned primarily with the study of the optical properties of the polymers to be employed and on the development of a high peak power pumping source. Progress was made in both of these areas.
