ON THE INTERNAL FIELD OF AN IRRADIATED, LOWSOUND-VELOCITY SPHERE OR CYLINDER,
Abstract
The mathematical problems of focusing by small liquid or solid, low velocity structures are considered. These problems include aberration, reverberation, focusing of a pulse, side-lobe discrimination, focusing of noise, resonance in the lens, and distortion of beam patterns by using large transducers.
