EMPTY VISUAL FIELD STUDIES: SOME EFFECTS OF CORRECTIVE LENSES, FILTERS, AND STRUCTURE,

Abstract

A visual environment which contains few focusable visual stimuli impairs visual performance ability. Such a visual environment is frequently referred to as an ''empty'' or ''homogeneous'' visual environment or a a Ganzfeld. The present research is an exploration of some of the effects of optical lens and filter aids to determine whether training devices, aids, or training regimes can reduce or eliminate accidents due to the phenomenon.
