INFRARED COATING STUDIES.

Abstract

This concerns theoretical work which was done on the problem of enhancing the reststrahlen reflectance of crystals of LiF, MgO, CaF2, BaF2 and SrF2. Very encouraging results were obtained. A three layer enhancement of LiF is discussed to show the direction of this work. (Author)
