EVALUATION OF IMAGE AND GYRO STABILIZED BINOCULARS, MONOCULARS, AND CAMERAS FOR USE IN LIGHT AIRCRAFT,

Abstract

The purpose of this project was to evaluate several items designed to improve the effectiveness of optical viewing devices and cameras in light aircraft. These included image stabilized binoculars and monocular; gyro stabilized binoculars, monocular, and camara; and combinations of gyro and image stabilized binoculars. Results and recommendations are presented. (Author)
