A FIELD ARMY AIR DEFENSE COMPUTER SIMULATION MODEL, VOLUME I,

Abstract

This research memorandum presents a complete description of the logic and decision rules which constitute the model. Since this is a general purpose model, the logic consists of broad definitions of types of operations possible, rather than precise descriptions of any particular weapon systems. (Some subset of this total would then be used for each system and each battle that is simulated, the particular subset being selected through the input parameters.) General information is given concerning the scope and use of the model and the techniques used in the actual computer program. Also specified are the input parameters required, the output format to be expected, and the operating instructions (for the computer used). (Author)
