VARIABLE SPEED RECORDER-REPRODUCER.
Abstract
This report describes a Magnetic Tape RecorderReproducer, two channels, capable of recording and reproducing at any tape speed between one and twenty inches per second. A review of the entire project is included with conclusions and recommendations. The project as proposed included six phases: (1) design and preliminary procurement; (2) prototype construction; (3) prototype test and final design; (4) procurement and Manufacture of three units; (5) delivery, instruction books, and drawings; and (6) compliance report, final report. Actual performance on the project required the building of a breadboard and two prototypes, and required test and modification of the three final units. Performance of the finished equipment is described. (Author)
