SEDIMENTATION OF CHEMICALLY REACTING MACROMOLECULES: PART I, THEORY,

Abstract

A mathematical analysis is made of two chemically interacting macromolecules sedimenting in a liquid solvent under one-dimensional electric and cylindrical centrifugal forces that are sufficiently large to dominate over diffussive forces. The singularities and jump conditions across discontinuity lines are derived and discussed in terms of physical observations. (Author)
