DYNAMIC MEASUREMENT OF PHASE SHIFT AND AMPLITUDE,

Abstract

Test procedures and techniques were investigated for swept frequency measurements of phase and amplitude characteristics of microwave amplifiers and related components, as functions of both time and frequency. Techniques are applicable to production line testing where test time must be minimized but accuracy must be maintained. 2data are accurate and comprehensive over a broad frequency range. A reflectometer system is used for swept frequency gain measurements. A commercially available phase test set is used for swept frequency phase measurements. (Author)
