A TECHNIQUE FOR SOLVING INTEGRO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH APPLICATION TO TURBULENT MIXING,

Abstract

As part of an investigation of variable area mixing of coaxial streams with afterburning, a mathematical technique was developed for the theory of turbulent mixing. This report is primarily concerned with the mathematical method employed to convert the nonlinear conservation equations to a form that is amenable to conventional numerical techniques. (Author)
