EFFICIENT APPROXIMATION OF ORTHOGONAL WAVEFORMS,

Abstract

A method for constructing a set of signals out of orthogonal building-block waveforms is derived. The cross-correlation between pairs of signals is small while the number of signals is much greater than the number of exactly orthogonal signals achievable. The construction given is based on a new class of codes. Signal generation and processing are discussed. (Author)
