ESTIMATED PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR THE ADVANCED X-15A-2 AIRPLANE WITH ONE YLR-99-RM-1 ENGINE NAA MODEL NO. NA-240-2.

Abstract

The pertinent exit and reentry performance of the Advanced X-15A-2 is presented in this report. The estimated maximum velocity for the contractor responsible overweight configuration is 8280 fps while in the probable flight configuration a maximum velocity of 7850 fps can be achieved. (Author)
