CHEMISTRY OF RARE EARTHS AND ACTINIDES. COMPILATION OF ABSTRACTS, ANNOTATIONS, AND SUMMARIES.
Abstract
This preliminary annotated bibliography was prepared in response to ATD Work Assignment No. 41, Task 8. It is based on Soviet open source materials available at the Aerospace Technology Division and the Library of Congress and covers the period 1960-1962. A list of the Soviet journals searched is provided. The list includes available translation journals and Library of Congress call numbers for both original sources and translations. Each entry is provided either with a chemical abstract reference, a translation reference, or abstracts. Due to the abundance or published articles on the chemistry of rare earth elements and the actinides, the listing was limited in scope, and only entries of interest selected. The division into eight parts is arranged in accordance with best interest of the requestor. Tables of general topics are included to facilitate the location of the subject of interest. A listing of principal scientists and associated facilities is given. The indexes provided are keyed to entry numbers. These indexes can be used to find the author or facility of individual papers associated with a specific subject. (Author)
