AROMATIC ORGANIC LASER DEVELOPMENT.

Abstract

An optically isotropic polymer has been developed which exhibits suitable properties for forming a resonant cavity. This report describes the preparation and optical properties of the samples. The spectral properties of the argon theta-pinch lamp have been measured during the past six months. The integrated and time-resolved spectra were measured and the brightness of the lamp was determined. An estimate of the efficiency of the lamp was made. (Author)
