DRIVING OF PILES TREATED WITH CREOSOTE CONTAINING ADDITIVES.

Abstract

As a part of Task Y-R005-07-01-007, Chemical Wood Preservative Studies, the Laboratory is exposing in Pearl Harbor 20-foot piles that have been treated with experimental treating solutions. All solutions used creosote as an active solvent and, except for the control set, contained one or two solutes. (Author)
