MAGNETIC FIELD COMPUTATIONS FOR UNIFORMLY MAGNETIZED BODIES WITH ODD SHAPES,

Abstract

The magnetic flux function was used to determine the axisymmetric fields generated by a number of rotationally symmetric uniformly magnetized bodies. In some cases an exact direct solution is possible in coordinates appropriate to the body. In other cases an indirect exact approach yielded various non-spherical bodies. A pointwise approximate method was also considered. (Author)
