A CONTINUUM SURVEY FOR DISCRETE RADIO SOURCES AT 1421 MC/S,

Abstract

Preliminary results of a continuum survey at 1412 Mc/s being carried out at the Owens Valley Radio Observatory are given for a 6-1/3 degree strip of declination. The coordinates and apparent flux densities of all 143 sources observed in this strip are tabulated, and the number-flux relation is plotted. The survey is felt to be essentially complete down to a flux density of 1.15 x 10-26 W per sqm per c/s. (Author)
