A ROTATING DISC THERMOCELL. I. THEORY.

Abstract

A method for establishing temperature gradients in thermocells is described, based on setting up a definite convective flow pattern. The temperature distribution is developed for the case of a rotating disc electrode held at one temperature in an electrolytic solution which thermostats the second electrode at another temperature.
