RIVERINE WARFARE

Abstract

Summaries are presented of two items dealing with French experiences with riverine warfare in Indochina in 1946-47 and 1954. The first period is described by Jean Mauclere in the monograph Marins dans les arroyos (Sailors in Inland Waterways) and the second article by Louis Julien-Binard, Memories of Nam-Dinh, in the Revue Maritime.
