SSB AND VHF CRYSTAL FILTERS.

Abstract

In this report the design, fabrication, and test results on developmental ten-crystal equimotional and bimotional crystal filters at 10.5 MC and a ladder crystal filter at 20.0 MC are presented and evaluated. The first efforts in the temperature compensation of crystal filters involving a study phase have been initiated with a discussion of specifications, factors involved in filter temperature stability, temperature sensitivity considerations and minimization, and statistical aspects of the temperature stability problem.
