PHYSIOLOGY AND ECOLOGY OF THE MARINE FUNGI.

Abstract

The report summarizes marine mycological research developed at the Institute of Marine Science, University of Miami, for the period September 1960 - August 1964. Developments discussed include taxonomical, physiological, and ecological studies of lignicolous (wood inhabiting) marine fungi, investigations of the fungi present in sea grass communities and relationships with associated nematode populations, and report on correlated marine mycological research. Complete list of publications on marine fungi and yeasts is given. (Author)
