Abstract
This survey is prepared monthly by the Foreign Documents Division, Office of Central Reference, CIA, from lists received through the cooperation of US government agencies and includes translations prepared by such agencies, private industry, universities, research institutions, and commercial translation organizations. It is a compilation of foreign documentary projects completed or started during the preceding month. Translations are listed by area and subject category. Scientific projects are grouped as a section regardless of geographic area. Title in English, author, foreign language title of source of material, date of publication, and publication identification of the completed project are given when available. Tables of contents of journals translated cover-to-cover are reproduced from the current publications. Projects in process, i.e., not completed as of the date of this survey, are noted with an asterisk, and when available, a project-control or in-process number is noted in parentheses following the title. Certain details may be unavailable on such projects. New projects in process are not listed again until they are completed. An index to authors of items in this issue is provided at the end of the survey.
