TABLES OF THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF MATERIALS.

Abstract

This technical documentary report covers work on a continuing systematic program involving the search, collection, extraction, evaluation, correlation, interpolation, extrapolation, and the final preparation of tables of properties referred to as 'most probable' values. The report does not contain the completed data sheets but does reproduce in the Appendix up-to-date Tables of Contents and the Directory of Materials for each of the Chapters of Volume I, II, and III of the Data Book on Thermophysical Properties in which the loose-leaf data sheets are organized. The works reported on consist of the thermal conductivity and viscosity of gases, and the thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity and radiative properties of metallic and nonmetallic elements, alloys, and compounds. The data sheets are released twice annually, in June and in December of each year. Current sheets are obtainable through the Materials Information Branch (MAAM); however, complete sets are available only from the Thermophysical Properties Research Center. (Author)
