VISCOSITY MEASUREMENTS ON FUSED SALTS. II. THE VISCOSITY OF SOME ALKALI AND ALKALINE EARTH CHLORIDES.

Abstract

Viscosity measurements by the oscillating hollow cylinder method have been carried out at temperatures in the range 650-1050 C. on the chlorides of calcium, strontium, barium, rubidium and cesium. The results are discussed in the light of current views on viscous flow in ionic liquids. (Author)
