ALKALINE-MNO2 BATTERY.
Abstract
Work accomplished during this quarter was in two phases: (1) The data and statistical work reported in the sixth quarter were completed, with no change in the overall conclusions affecting the work. Within-lot variances have been calculated. (2) Increased cathode density, a critical factor in battery performance at -40 F., is obtained by densification of the cathode preform which will be utilized in the planned factory trial. (Author)
